The CAECMH is funded by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development to serve as the organizing entity of the New Jersey Pyramid Model State Leadership Team.
Known as The Pyramid Model Partnership, the Pyramid Model State Leadership Team is a multi-disciplinary, cross-sector team of engaged stakeholders who prioritize equity while collaborating across systems, departments, and initiatives to coordinate and leverage the statewide implementation of the practices of the Pyramid Model for Supporting Social Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children, so as to promote evidence-based relational, emotional, and social development in the infant/early childhood community in New Jersey.
The New Jersey Pyramid Model State Leadership Team uses data-based decision making to promote equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed consciousness and practices throughout the infant/early childhood community; determine the effectiveness of the Pyramid Model in supporting the development of multi-disciplinary, high quality infant and early childhood practices and programs; oversee professional development activities, including training, coaching and reflective practice; grow awareness for and implementation of the Pyramid Model framework for families and professionals.
