Tara Evenson, MEd, joined the Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health (CAECMH) as an Inclusion Facilitator in July, 2020.
Ms. Evenson previously served for 12 years as the Associate Director and then Director and Principal of Ben Samuels Children’s Center, Montclair State University, an inclusive early childhood program serving children 12 weeks old through 5 years. In addition Ms. Evenson served as the Director of the Jeffrey Dworkin Early Intervention program, and the inclusive Demonstration Program for preschool age children with IEPs.
Prior to Montclair State University, Ms. Evenson worked in early childhood education in the private sector as a teacher and then administrator for 9 years.
Ms. Evenson holds a Masters degree in Education from University of Pennsylvania and certifications as Teacher N-8, Teacher of Students with Disabilities, and Principal.
